Hello, my name is Sophia Minar and with the Help of the organization Children's Global Alliance on April 12th through April 20th I will be going on a service trip to Nicaragua. On this trip we will go to a school that goes by the name of Escuela Especial Sor Maria Romero. Here we will help teach students with disabilities and we will be assisting the teachers . We will also deliver food, medical supplies, school supplies and clothes to the children.
I am participating in this trip because I really want to make an impact on these children with disabilities and for them to make and impact on me. I also will be participating on this trip because I have always been a shy person and going on this trip I will hope to break through my shyness. This trip is also a great way to learn more about children with disabilities and to be able to put out a helping hand.
